Edwin T. “Eddie” Mulock is a co-founder of Mulock Flynn Law and is among Florida’s most distinguished attorneys. For nearly 50 years, Mr. Mulock has represented clients not only in the Bradenton-Sarasota area, but throughout the State of Florida. As one of Manatee and Sarasota County’s premier trial attorneys, he earned the status of Florida Super Lawyer for five consecutive years while practicing in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, and wrongful death.

Eddie Mulock has been a resident of Manatee County his entire life. He attended grade schools in both Palmetto and Bradenton. Mr. Mulock first attended Palmetto, Ballard and Miller Elementary School, old Bradenton Junior High School, then went on to graduate from Manatee High School before going on to earn his undergraduate and law degrees from Stetson University. Mr. Mulock has been a proud supporter of the Manatee High School Hurricane athletics program, serving on the Booster Club in addition to volunteering as a color broadcaster for nearly 30 years for the Manatee High School football team.

At Mulock Flynn Law, Eddie Mulock has practiced in both state and federal courts throughout the State of Florida. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Florida in 1968, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Mulock has litigated some of the most notable and high-profile cases, civil and criminal, in the history of Manatee and Sarasota County. He made a reputable name for himself in the legal community while serving as a former prosecutor for the State of Florida. He prosecuted high-profile felonies, murders and capital offense cases. He has equally represented clients on the defense side receiving numerous acquittals and not guilty verdicts. Mr. Mulock has received multiple million dollar verdicts as seen in his 1983 swine flu suit against the United States federal government in which he won a verdict of $2,000,000.00.

Eddie Mulock brings an impressive resume to Mulock Flynn Law as he was part of the inaugural class of Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers (Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization) in the State of Florida. Mr. Mulock also served as a member of the Florida Board of Governors for nearly ten years. He is a former certified mediator and NFLPA certified agent. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Manatee County Bar Association, Bradenton Kiwanis Club, Ducks Unlimited, American Inns of Court, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Eddie Mulock’s never quit attitude has been the foundation for his impressive collection of awards and accolades he has earned throughout his professional career, which includes the following:

A favorite motto of Eddie Mulock is “Get a good idea and do whatever it takes to make it happen. Don’t be afraid of hard work. Make something happen.” These words which Mr. Mulock lives by helped create the non-profit, Foundation for Dreams, which built the Dream Oaks Camp to serve as a refuge for children with mental or physical disabilities or chronic or terminal illnesses. The first summer campers were welcomed in 2001 and today, the Dream Oaks Camp provides services to over 700 individuals a year through a year-round residential and day camp. In addition to his practice at Mulock Flynn Law, Mr. Mulock continues to serve the Foundation as its President.
